Terms and Conditions of Use 

By accessing, registering with, or using the Platform, you expressly acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Agreement.

 1.Eligibility and Age Restrictions

Students under the age of 13 only under verified consent and supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or authorized school representative, in compliance with COPPA, or applicable data protection regulations.

2.License and Permitted Use

Subject to compliance with this Agreement, ChimpVine hereby grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform solely for educational and non-commercial purposes.

Users expressly agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile any feature of the Platform.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or exploit any portion of the AI-generated content or curriculum without express written consent.
  
• Utilize AI tools for academic dishonesty, misrepresentation, or unauthorized automation.
  

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and patents in and to the Platform, the Content, and any derivative works thereof are and shall remain the exclusive property of ChimpVine and/or its licensors. 

User data, including learning analytics, will be processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, and will never be sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes. Anonymized data may be used to enhance system performance, algorithm accuracy, and user experience.

4.AI Ethics and Liability Disclaimer

While the Platform incorporates artificial intelligence to personalize learning experiences, Users acknowledge:

• Teachers are responsible for the interpretation and contextual application of AI outputs.
  
• ChimpVine assumes no liability for decisions made solely based on AI-driven suggestions or analyses.
  

5.Code of Conduct

Users agree to conduct themselves with integrity, professionalism, and respect for the digital learning environment. Strictly prohibited conduct includes:

• Uploading or transmitting any malicious code, defamatory material, or obscene content.
  
• Circumventing security mechanisms or access controls.
  
• Harassing or impersonating other Users.
  

6.Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law:

1. ChimpVine makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated materials or curriculum content.
   
2. ChimpVine shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.
   
3. Educational institutions and supervising adults assume full responsibility for monitoring student engagement with AI features.
   

7. Modifications and Termination

ChimpVine reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the Platform or any part thereof at any time, with or without notice. Continued use after changes to this Agreement constitutes acceptance of such modifications.

ChimpVine also reserves the right to:

• Suspend or terminate any User account for violation of this Agreement.
  
• Investigate misuse or breaches, and cooperate with law enforcement where applicable.
